Mengxi "Althea"

Writer/Director/Co-Producer

Chinese media artist who is having a hard time defining her practice. She went to the Flaherty Film Seminar in 2016 as one of the six Philadelphia fellows, and introduced herself in front of 200 people: "Hello... my name is Mengxi...I do interesting things."

Shane

Co-Producer

Shane is an independent filmmaker from Denver, Colorado. In this exact order,  he is interested in directing, screenwriting, cinematography, and editing. Shane hopes to make a career of this film business or instead open a food truck.

Eve

Line Producer

Eve comes from a fine art background. Her work reflects formal study of the masters, composition, and color theory. Her work combines an editorial style with the effects of light to comment on the nature of perpetuity, the structure of time, and the concept of mundaneness.

Adam

Director of Photography

Adam's work explores the aesthetics of human and non-human environments through a practice informed by phonography, sensory ethnography, landscape film, and experimental narrative film. 

Enrica

Production Designer

Enrica's work focuses on the intersection between labor and value. She often works with discarded materials, and then transforms them into sites of production for social critique. 

Gabby

Set Dresser

As far back as she could remember, Gabby always wanted to be an gangster artist. As an Armenian-American the migration of people and survival of culture within America is an integral part of her work. She seeks to find connections surrounding food, religion, family and the domestic to question how these elements contribute to the make up of a cultural identity.

Julia

Costume Designer

Julia is currently studying Fibers and Material Studies and Art Education at Tyler School of Art. In her art practice, she uses traditional dyeing and sewing techniques to create interactive narratives discussing decay and memory.

Ariel

Costume Designer

Ariel came to the US for graduate school, and achieved her Master Degree in Communication Management. After graduation, she found her passion in costume design, and continued her education in Costume Design at Temple University.
