Three Seasons

In the world of Three Seasons, Seasons run differently in the two cities, Cloudville and Piyan, where the protagonists are from. Piyan has three seasons in a year while Cloudville has two. 

 

The number of season one experiences in a year is genetic. Freya experiences three seasons in a year, but in Cloudville her third season does not exist on the city's timeline. In her eyes, the city will be frozen, until her third season finishes. Elliot, as a mix blood between Piyan and Cloudville, only experiences the extra season half of the time -- he loses consciousness during the day. 

 

In normal Cloudville seasons, the sky is always overcast and one will never see sunshine or stars. However, during Freya and Elliot's frozen season, the sky is always clear.
